Mark your calendars and whet your appetite for our annual Good Samaritan Auction and Dinner on Wednesday, May 2.  Not only is this an opportunity to enjoy some delicious food, but it’s a great way to support residents at Fort Scott Presbyterian Village! Our Good Samaritan Program helps with financial needs for those who’ve exhausted their resources through no fault of their own at Fort Scott Presbyterian Village. Chicken Mary’s dinners are served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and drive-through or dine-in are available for your convenience.  Dinners are $8.50 in advance and $12 at the door which includes a drink and homemade dessert. Get your dinner tickets early, as we often sell out.

We also are selling tickets for the chance to win an amazing, luxurious seven-day vacation to Santa Fe, N.M.  Tickets are $5 each or three tickets for $10.  The winner does not have to be present to win.

A live auction will begin at 5 p.m. where many great items will be featured, both old and new. This year we have many exciting items at the auction:

– Very nice furniture

– Antiques

– Collectibles

– Indoor and outdoor items

– Tools – 2002 Buick 4-door LeSabre (very low miles and well-maintained)

- John Deere riding lawn mower in great shape

– Tempurpedic remote control bed

– Gift certificates and items from many businesses

More items are added each day and there’s something for all ages and styles.

Come out and plan to find some great surprises on auction day.  This event is always a lot of fun, so bring your friends and compete to win some great items at the auction! Call Ginger Nance at 620- 223-5550 for more information, to purchase dinners in advance, or to make donations of items for the auction.
