    Lauren Flater awarded PMMA scholarship

    Lauren Flater recently received the Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America Employee Scholarship. Ginger Nance, Fort Scott Presbyterian Village executive director, presented the scholarship check to Lauren at the community’s Christmas party. Lauren applied for the scholarship in April 2019.Lauren started working at Fort Scott Presbyterian Village roughly nine and a half years ago and served in a part-time capacity in her first four years with the community.   Read More...

    Fort Scott Presbyterian Village’s Art is Ageless® call for entries underway

    Fort Scott Presbyterian Village has issued a call for entries for the Art is Ageless® juried exhibit to be held March 9 – 18, 2020. Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 40th anniversary Art is Ageless calendar in 2021.Artists may choose to enter the exhibit only. For the competition, works are to have been completed in the past five years (since January 2015).   Read More...

    Holiday care package reaches military members in time for holidays

    Fort Scott Presbyterian Village would like to say thank you to everyone who donated items for the holiday care package we sent to men and women serving overseas in the U.S. armed forces.The troops received the packages in time for the holiday season and shared photos of themselves unboxing their gifts.The gifts and care package helped us show our appreciation for the troops who dedicate their time to serve our country, even as they are separated from their families and homes.   Read More...

    Fort Scott Presbyterian Village honored for achievements

    Fort Scott Presbyterian Village was recognized with an Emerald Award Level One from PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America) for reaching goals in fiscal year 2019, July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.The recognition came through PMMA’s Emerald Awards Program, designed to encourage its 16 locations and two hospices to achieve high levels of resident and employee satisfaction, meet financial goals, build philanthropic support for the organization’s mission and meet marketing goals.
